May seem like an odd question but was wondering if there were any other people of faith living the lifestyle?

I know it may seem like a contradiction but just wanted to know if anyone has managed to balance both lifestyles.

Wife was a catechist to young people for a good while in the past.

We belong to the Catholic church and have attended for many years. We are both still very involved with our church and serve almost every week. Being brought up in a strict Catholic home, making this leap into being a shared wife, made it extremely difficult for me. Was always taught "good girls" don't otherwise there would be spiritual consequences. And I will say that it did take my husband many many years to finally convince me, deprogram me, to agree to this lifestyle
