Why do people post media that is not them?

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so obvious about the pics. When you see a poorly photoshopped face on a body it is laughable.
Sometimes the stories are made up to alter the events that actually happened that weren't so eventful, or to up someone else's previous story. I know I have embellished at times for the sake of the thread, but I can say the story is at least 75% true sometimes more. I figure it is a poetic license.

Ya it pretty messed up when you get like 30 message a day and almost all of them are fake bullshit
Honestly it is insane. That's why we don't sign on here for months at a time because most of the responses are just fake
