Place to take wife in New York State and surrounding areas

Wife has said she’s not into the hot wife thing. But we are planning a date weekend away some where in the state/area early December.

What I’m looking for is a decent hotel that’d be in walking distance or has as hotel bar that is pretty packed/active. She’s flirted heavily at times if there’s a connection so I’m wanting to find a place or area we can go where she can flirt organically if it happens. She knows my fantasy. Not looking for anything seedy or low rent as she won’t go there as she won’t feel safe. Plan is to try and get her more and more comfortable flirting then let nature amd vodka take its course. lol
