Is Any One Familiar With Telegram????

one night i received a text, from an unknown number, asking me if i wanted to meet for lunch.

just to play along, i asked, "are you buying"? she(turns out she was female from Boston) replied yes.

my next question was who is she?

this started a texting convo. that went on for two days she told me her name & where she worked. after a couple f days, she wanted to move to Telegram. i declined & she moved on.
any ideas what this was other than a possible.mistake?

Probably a scam. I get lot of text like those

100% a scam, hoping to prey on gullible men. Probably after telegram she would ask for money to get to Boston or something like that. I'm sure gift cards would be requested 🙂

Don't use telegram but I assume there is an added layer of anonymity that texting, probably using a burner cell phone to hook people, doesn't have.
