It's pretty damned common. I know many, many couples here in the San Diego area that are into it.
The only thing that used to surprise me, was how often the wife wanted hubby to service me (to varying degrees).
I kind of just "put up with it" at first, being straight...but came to eventually prefer couples where I got spoiled by both. Life is good. 🙂

At any rate, I'm still not sure if couples are actually doing this a lot more, than say, 30 years ago...or if the internet making it easier
