There are so many strange dichotomies that circle around the various iterations of this lifestyle. Don't disrespect my wife but do disrespect my husband. She likes to do things she doesn't do with her husband. She has no rules, he has a list of 'em.

It's the extreme (most likely fake) situations of humiliation you read about here that sound contrived. If a husband is jealously protective regarding how his wife is treated/respected wouldn't it be difficult for a wife not to share that feeling for her husband? On one hand a wife will cherish her husband's devotion and at the same time her devotion to him is diluted by her having other lovers. That sounds off.
