How to create private albums?

Hello!
How can I create an album that can't be seen by everyone?
I have created an album, but everyone has access to this album, which should not be.
I use my cell phone with Android.
My goal is to insert pictures into private messages, but I don't know how to do that. It is only possible to insert pictures from my profile media.

As you create your album, scroll to the bottom of the categories and choose “crate personal album” then choose “album owner” as the only one to be able to view it.

The option is not available for me!
Maybe exoticpetit2387 has the same issue.
I'll test this with my laptop. Could it be, that permissions are missing?

I have no idea. I think the updated site messed things up

It is easier to choose some pics from your media to be sent in a private message but I don't know if it is because your media is hidden , maybe that was only temporary , did you try all possible ways ?

My issue is solved ✅
I don't know when and how. At one day a few weeks ago I saw "drop image" below the picture icon here in the message area. No one has informed me that a setting has been corrected. Anyway, I'm glad it's working now.

same here. I am not able to set the privacy of the albums, and also not able to send any images in private chat. did you guys contact support in order to have this fixed for you? or what can I do about it?
