Varies pretty widely depending on the woman.
I break it down something like this, based on my experience fucking ~20 women, getting sexual in some other way (oral, handjobs, whatever) with another 15-20 or so, and having several close female friends who knew I was hung and opened up to me about their preferences:
2-3% of women are size queens. Women who NEED a huge cock. Will chase it, and will reject smaller or average guys.
1-2% of women prefer a smaller than average cock. Often they are in pain from penetration.
A large minority of women, maybe like 15%, seem to prefer about average size. A similar number seem to genuinely have no preference (even after being exposed to a huge cock, which is key: a lot of women think size doesn't matter, but then they have an unusually big or small one and change their mind).
But the thing is, if you ask women, like 80% of them will say that size doesn't matter to them. Most are either uninformed (never had anything significantly different from average) or, more likely I think, lying. The majority of women (like the remaining ~65-70%) prefer a big or a huge cock to anything else. They don't CRAVE it and NEED it, and they enjoy other sizes, but all other things equal they would prefer to be stuffed by one that's like 6.5-8 inches long and maybe 5.25-6 inches girth.
My wife is in that last category. Even though I call her a size queen, I don't really think of her as one. I think we'd be married even if I didn't have a penis. But she definitely appreciates a much larger size than any other woman I know (8.5x6.5 is usually best, give or take a quarter inch both ways), and there's something "size queen"-ey about that!
Note there would be a selection bias here toward women who like big dick, because a few of the 20 or so women I've had knew I was hung beforehand. So maybe size queens are more rare than I've experienced. But it's the best I can do to see through the difference between what women say and what they do, and I think it's pretty obvious that there's a difference between the words and actions of most when it comes to penis size.
