Very similar to where I'm at with my wife. Almost the exact situation and experience.

 Don't push it from here. Give her a few more vanilla sessions and see if she brings it up during sex.

 If not, gently bring it up again during another session so she knows you're still keen.

 That's about as far as I can help from experience. I'm hoping over time as she gets more familiar with the role play that she'll get curious about going further.

 It's definitely a slow process. It took years just to get mine to role-play it.
