I told my wife how proud of her I was and how happy it would make me and that she would have fun. I suggested we try it once just to see if we enjoyed it. I asked her while we were hot and excited during sex.... and she agreed....
Honestly this is what I’m trying now. She seemed a bit okay with it during sex. But after? She was hesitant.

Is it best to have this conversation in the bedroom during intimacy or more over dinner as a discussion? I have ED that is prohibitive to sex so we fool around on a very limited basis and I am not certain it would be the right forum as it is very frustrating to both of us and we tend to end intimacy because of the frustration. I don't know if I would have enough time to really lay out my suggestion. I am leaning towards a nice dinner in a semi private setting so we can talk and are more less in that situation for an hour or so giving me time to build my pitch.
