Hope this is welcomed here. As the title states, my girlfriend engaged in a sexual relationship with her classmate when we were on a break. (2 months)

She studied nursing and we agreed on taking a break so we could focus on school.

We’ve been together since high school and thought we’d both be each others only partner.

After getting back with her, I asked (more than once) if she had sex or dated anyone while we were on break.
She assured me that she didn’t and I believed her.

One day, we went to the theater to watch a movie and went to the bathroom mid movie. She left her phone back. I went through her messages, nothing. Recent calls, nothing. Went to Snapchat, nothing.
But then, once I was going contact by contact on Snapchat opening any previous chat.

One popped up, with a guy I’ve never seen. And long story short, it was a long chat. It showed them both flirting with each other, and him telling her his age (36) and that he has a ....... But then I came to a part that troubled me.

They had sex. Their messages said everything in detail about it.
“Oh baby, I love the way you ride me”
“I was all over your neck”
“Oh baby I had fun today, come back tomorrow” (to the guys place)


and all this stuff troubles me because he’s 36 and she’s 20… big age gap. I’m mad but at the same time turned on?

She doesn’t know I know this. How can I approach this and know more about their encounters?

If anyone here has been through something like this, I’d like to know about your experience.

Look as someone who has had a mush younger girlfriends (one of my exes was 18 years younger and 20 years old when we started dating, I was 38) I know and understand it a bit better, Forget all that stuff, she cheered... At that age people do stupid stuff. My ex for example at the time was a virgin and could not wait to let me pop her cherry. All her girlfriends were having sex and bragging to her about it and she had no idea what it feels like. Then she got hooked and fell in love and wanted me to marry her. But that is an other topic.
You need to decide what do you want from this girl. You said you got turned on when you realize that they had sex... Are you two sexually involved now? I am guessing you are not much older then she is? In my opinion that is the age to have a lots of sex with other people and experiment sexually. If you are having sex with her, why don't you talk to her during sex if she has any sexual fantasies? Ask her about threesomes, ask her if she would like to have one. Enjoy the life with her. In the process you might become a cuckold and love every moment of it or maybe not. But you will become sexually experienced and confident....
