The reality is it works better if she is aware she has an admirer and is politely introduced to him via text. The first time was a bit of a challenge as she lots of questions and doubted my intentions.
But once she realized how much fun it is she has just gone with it and it’s changed everything for her.
Don’t push too hard though, it will likely backfire completely for you. I was fortunate.
