I'm in the same situation. I've tried a few things but nothing has paid off yet.
I can definitely advise not to push it! If you do, it'll be several steps back. I've had to back off a fair bit and I'll probably have to wait a few months before starting the role play back up unless she brings it up first.

Thanks for sharing…I think at least from my experience dealing with my wife, they have their own pace, they are controlling the pace not us, even if we wanted it to go faster, its not going to go as fast as we want if she didn’t want it to go any further….if you are to take this further, plan ahead and be patient..their pace is different than ours and what we think should happen because thats what we want , is not what’s going to happen, she is the one who will be involved in this and subsequently, she holds the keys not us…best of luck
