She clearly loved you so much, so why did she end up with him, just the temptation I suppose. The fact that she volunteered it all to you is more evidence that she really loves you. It's hard to read how you ended up punishing her (intentionally or not) but I understand how that can happen.  The sense of betrayal can be such a false emotion isn't it, her doing what she did, how did that truly short-change you during those three months?
