Attach image in conversation

Hi
Anyone knows how to attach media in conversation? I only have option to insert url

I’ve only ever used my smartphone
It’s Apple…
I hope the screen shots that follow explain


Press/Click on picture icon….



Click on ‘Drop Image’ Box….

Then you get a pop up to
Access your phone/tablet
Functions…. See below


I only select ‘Photo Library’ from the 3

Then select a photo from your device
It will drop into the conversation but also confusingly it shows the image outside of your conversation with a select box ‘Insert’…..(you can choose to ignore it)
if you select ‘Insert’
You get a choice of ‘Thunbnail’ or ‘Full image’ for inserting into the conversation.
Selecting will duplicate the image into the conversation. So delete one.
You will have to work through the last part as I’m finding it difficult to explain with text
